AIA Miami Supports Local Musicians!
Musicians have been hit particularly hard by the COVID pandemic. With this in mind, we reached out to find local musicians to provide some of the entertainment for the Design Awards Gala. Local music engineer, musical historian, musician and composer, Chris D'Angelis, was hired to compose an original song for the 2020 AIA Miami Design Awards Gala.
After much research, Chris discovered that there were absolutely zero songs that anyone had ever written about architects. Not even one. After consulting with two architect friends of his who regaled him with tales of the trade, he composed an original song called "It's Over Budget", which will have it's world premiere at the gala.
