WHAT IS CREATIVE BLACK TIE?
Creative black tie is a dress code made for fun. When an event calls for a creative black tie dress code, it means you don’t have to adhere to the traditional black tie standards in which men are expected to wear a specific tuxedo shirt paired with a black suit, and women are expected to wear evening dresses.
What Do I Wear? Men
Creative black tie outfits include the use of different textures, prints, patterns, colors, or accessories to create your own fun (and still elegant) look. Colors can be whimsical or mismatched, and you can explore outside the box with comfort (jeans, tux coat the bow tie)
Guayabera and tux pants. Wear whatever is comfortable and fun. Follow the "Creative" more than the "Black Tie".
What Do I Wear? Women
Tiaras Optional
Be creative! Ball gown with flip flops, cocktail wear, men's formal wear. Colorful, comfortable glamour is what we are aiming for. Tiaras are optional.
